Missed calls with no call history but Voicemail

I had this occur a few times too many. 

I missed calls but no notification or no call log history.  I only know I have a missed call via voicemail. I check the VM and get the timestamp of when the call occurred. 

I also will get a text from  friends saying they tried  calling me. The phone rings on their end and then goes to VM but no rings on my end and no missed calls notification.

I have pixel 7 phone. Anyone have this occur or know how to resolve the issue?

I am about to submit a ticket for this very same issue, and I'm wondering if you've found a solution. 

 I get about 20% of my calls (phone rings on my end). The rest go to voice mail and do not show in the call log. If no message is left, I never know the call happened. Text and SMS send and receive fine. * My entire family has PM and their calls don't come through when we're together in the same place, texts go through fine (I've had to prove to people this was happening 😉

I have been with public mobile 4+ years. This has been happening for at least a year. I thought it was my phone (Samsung A50) or sim card. I lost my phone recently and now have a new phone (Samsung A31) and new sim card. Same issue. I have checked all settings (numerous times), rebooted, toggled DND and APM, factory reset, everything I can think of.

Unfortunately I have an esim and can't pop out the sim and add it to another phone. I will have to open a ticket with PM.

you have a compatible phone

could be a network issue in the area.

If you have another phone around, put the PM sim there and test.  This will for a sim reprovision and could resolve the issue

if that does not help, then you can open ticket with PM support and ask them to reprovision the account on the system.
