Making an email contact change

I need to update my email contact information.  I'm not seeing where to do that in my account profile.  I can update other things but I when I hit edit profile the page that comes up does not have my email to update.

This is for your protection against SIM swapping. I have seen horror story about people SIM swapped and their bank accounts was emptied.

You can still access the account with the old email and password and have the 2FA code sent by text if the account is still active.

@davidallen18   Yes, agreed and it's been mentioned many times by many other customers over the last several years, however, PM has chosen to ignore the request to allow us to change our email by ourselves, sadly..

This is not user friendly at all.  I'm getting very frustrated.  Something as simple as updating your email should not be so difficult.

@davidallen18 yes, you cannot update email used for My Account yourself.  You have to open ticket with PM support and have them to update it for you

 

1.  Open ticket with Chatbot for faster response (2-48 hours), using direct link: https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot.

Start by typing "Forgot Login Information", then click "Contact Us",, then click "Click here to submit a ticket ↗" 

2. if you have problem with Chatbot: Private message CS Agent at:    

https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437


**Monitor your Community inbox (envelope icon on the top right) after the ticket is opened. CS Agent will reply to you there

This cannot be done from within the Self Serve account.  Please use the chatbot to open a ticket at https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html. Once that link has been opened, type "change self serve e-mail adddress".
