MMS / texting not working

Joined PM today and ported my number over from another provider. Texting does not work despite all the recommended solutions from APN settings to swapping sim car to another phone, rebooting, etc etc.  It's been about 10 hrs since I ported.  Missing a lot of messages right now because of this. Any other ideas?

Glad to say i finally manage to leave Public Mobile this morning.  Worst service and experience to date with any telecom provider.  Guess you get what you pay for.

Thank you all.  What if I decide to move out of PM, how do I confirm the transfer if I can't text?  Or do I pm customer support

Public Mobile is dealing with issues when it comes to SMS on Android and iMessages and FaceTime and such. There is no ETA of when it will be resolved. Here is their announcement.

Hey Community,

We are aware that some of you are currently unable to successfully use iMessage and or FaceTime features,  and we understand how frustrating this can be. Our teams are working diligently to find the cause. 

In the meantime, please try troubleshoot steps:
Tap Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and will continue to keep you updated.

was it just sms issue? can you get inbound calls?

if SMS, probably a problem with activation.  Please ask PM agent to refresh your account.
