@jojo222- How long ago was your last payment? Did you deal with some credit card fraud recently?

HI @jojo222   how they terminate it?  how long you have not use your PM account/number?

Call 1-855-4Public click 1 for English and then enter your phone number.  Let us know what it says

HI @jojo222   You DO NOT activate with the new sim card.

You login to My Account and request Change SIM card  on your current My Account

Do you have access to your email (the email that used to access My Account)?  If so, you can still login My Account without problem.  Try it

If not, open ticket with CS Agent:

at : https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot. Follow this to get to ticket open screen quicker:

First type: "Forgot log in information"
Then Click "Contact Us"
Finally Click "Click here to submit a ticket"
you will then direct to another page to open ticket.

Once ticket is submitted, make sure to check your Community Inbox(top right corner envelope icon) periodically for response from PM's CS Agent

If you have problems submitting a ticket, you can also send a private message to the CS Agent (but this can take longer):

How can one lose SIM card??? It is always in the phone, no?

HI @devrajking1314

I am no boss, just a regular customer

I trust you are trying to help and doing it for a good cause.,

Will keep it in mind. Thank you boss

HI @devrajking1314   can you explain how can you help?  It is slightly concerning.

Giving out SIM number could be dangerous.  I think as a customer offering help, we should avoid asking sensitive info.

Would hope you can explain further

if you are from Mobile Store, I am afraid you are not supposed to offer to much "professional" help

.

HI @devrajking1314   People can go to those stores to buy new SIMs but those store won't help to change the SIM on the system.  It is all a self-serve process

You will get the same number. 2 ways. Either get a sim card and do it yourself by public mobile self serve with your logins OR go to any near by location dealing with public mobile and tell them to change the sim card for you. Its only going to charge you $10CAD

@harmandeepk38  Positive.

Many people got new SIM and follow the change SIM request that way

this is the official announcement about the Change SIM process:

What you need is new SIM. Then do SIM transfer through self-serving account.

Cheapest SIM is through CCS or reputable Canadian ebay seller. From both delivery is usually withing a week.

Don't worry. Just go to near store and ask for a new one and active it with your old number. They may ask for your account no.

You just need to purchase a new sim, then log into your self serve and go to change SIM card.  That will attach your current phone number to your new SIM card

I am happy to help, but I am not a Customer Support Agent please do not include any personal info in a message to me. Click HERE to create a trouble ticket through SIMon the Chatbot *

I would recommend Canadian Cell Supplies for price and quick delivery.

@harmandeepk38   you just need to go to a store and buy a new SIM card.  It should be around $10 (Do not get it from PM online as it will take long for them to devlier.  Get it from store like Walmart Mobile, London Drug Mobile, Koodo, etc)   The SIM card will have a new number, but no worry, you can still tie it to your account so you will get to keep your phone number

Once you got the new SIM card, go to My Account, click change SIM Card, and select use email to receive the 2FA security code.   Once all done, PM will assign the same account info and phone number to your new sim card and you can use it on your  phone:
