Lost all pictures stored on my phone

Marie64
Great Neighbour / Super Voisin

I travelled to the US and my phone went dead : I could not call or access any functionality. When I came back to Canada, I had to reset the phone. When the phone came back, I had lost some of my contacts and all my pictures.

How can I get my pictures back?

Oh, my!

If you did phone reset most likely everything is gone.

There are few commercial apps to recover lost pictures, files. I cannot recommend any as I never tried them. Most likely some of them will let you try, recover 10 items and if that works for you pay for them and recover everything; but no guarantee...

Daily backup after busy photo session - on a cloud or computer always helps...

In the case of an iPhone....would be......proper settings.......assuming has more than 1 Apple device......assuming had NO data in USA......should have hooked up to wifi a few times.

@Marie64 any chance you have iCloud, Samsung or Google backup setup for photos?  or take the phones to a mobile shop and see if they can do anything, but it won't be cheap

Do you use any cloud service to backup your phone?  If you don't there probably isn't going to be a "copy" of all that information anywhere

If it's an iPhone, you may be able to access them through itunes.
