Losing $ rewards when switching plans

lontb

Hello!

I am on the old rewards program, $40 for 15 gb plan.  If I switch plans now, all of the plans state how many rewards points you will get.  Does that mean I lose my monthly $rewards?

Also, what does the 15 gb + 15 gb plan mean?  Is the plan really just 30 gb or do you have to do something to get the extra 15 gb?

Thank you,

That promotion plan is gone though.

@lontb

first, the  15GB + 15GB just means 30GB, no extra works needed.  Just some marketing gimmick to make it looks like a bonus

for the plan change,   You can freely change plan and it wont' affect your current rewards, also confirmed by Community Manager here:

Will I be moved to the new rewards program if I change my plan?
Changing your plan won’t automatically transfer you to our new Public Points rewards program. If you’re currently on our legacy rewards program, you will continue to stay on it. However, we encourage you to explore Public Points, as it opens up even more opportunities for savings.
