Can I make a call from Canada to the US with $30 add on text talk roam 3 ?

No. You can only use US Roaming add ons in the US but you can call Canada whilst in the US with any of the US Roaming add ons that include a talk feature. To call the US from Canada you need to have one of the following:

1. $15/1000 US minutes add on. This is a one time purchase that does not expire rolling over every 30 days until completely consumed.
2. The "more is merrier" 500 international minutes holiday add on gift (or the 400 international minutes holiday add on from the 2019 "more is merrier" campaign).
3. A voip provider app such as textnow or fongo (choose a Canadian phone #) that allows you to call for free using wifi or mobile data.
4. A calling card (available at corner stores etc....) preferably with a Canadian toll free number if you are on a limited minute plan so it doesn't use your outgoing minutes.

If you accidentally purchased a US Roaming add on you can contact customer support and explain your "honest mistake" and they will likely remove the add on and credit your account.

Also note, the long distance calling add on will stay until you have used it all up.  No expiry.

Login to My Account, go to Plan and Addon page and the Buy Add-on  there

@5458 , you need an in Canada long distance add-on to make calls outside the country.  The US long distance add-on is $15 for 1000 minutes.  These minutes do not expire.

You don’t need roaming. Just long distance calling Add-on.

The cost is 1000 US calling for $15. Just login to your account and go to Plans & Add-on to make your purchase.
