My SMS feature has been a point of contention for me. First of all when I send texts, which are no more than 200-250 characfers, it never sends. When I shortened the same text, it sends. Is there a size limit for the number of words in SMS ?
I also have not been able to send or receive attachments of any sort in SMS. Is there a limitation here that I do not know about ? I'm on the $15 a month prepaid plan. Thanks.

Thank you, all. I had the APN name in lower case. It's all good now.

@JimRockford_PI Is there a size limit for the number of words in SMS ?
Depending on phone, 140-160 characters, emojis etc. will reduce that.
As @slusagm said, attachments go by MMS not SMS. You need MMS enabled and cellular data to be turned on for MMS, but not for SMS.

send attachment is MMS and it needs Mobile data turned on
for long message, go through the message app settings, there is an option to break longer message into multiple sms, enable that
