@grizzlyandrews PM doesn't offer landline service, it is strictly a cell phone service. You'll need to go to Telus, Bell or Rogers for landline service.

Sorry, to be clear, I do not have a landline now, but am interested in getting one. Is this service provided by public mobile? What would be the process? Would this be VOIP?

Yes. But each number is a separate account and email.
First set up a new account with a new number.
Then make sure your land line is paid up for a couple of weeks.
Then port your land line number to your new account. Will take about a week to complete. And you will have split services, until the port completes.
Then use the SIM in a new phone or a ZTE BOX.
Use mobile phone only.
To use SIM on a land line set:
Pair the mobile phone to a Panasonic Link2cell. But verify if mobile phone is compatible.
Put SIM in a ZTE box and connect to land line phone set.

@grizzlyandrews yes you can transfer your landline to your account but you will lose the number in your account now, this can be done in your selfserve account go to change number then transfer wire or wireless line

At the cost of your current phone number, yes. You can't have multiple numbers on an account though.
