I just transferred to Public Mobile today and it seems like the transfer process went through OK because I got a text message. My old Sim card is still in my phone, and when I went to pull it out I sent a text message and the receiver did not get it. I put the old Sim card back in which makes no sense because if the transfer happened then I shouldn’t need to keep it in, because I have the new Public Mobile eSIM card. Also, my iPhone messages are going through as green and not blue as they should. Does anyone know what the problem is?

I would suggest to keep the old sim in your phone for 24 hours sometimes you get the port message request twice and you will have to say yes again and have your new sim in another phone. if after the 24 hours you still get phone calls and text on your old sim card that means your port didn't go through so just try another port request.
