Just changed my phone plan to get data, However it is not working

Hi, today i changed my Iphone 6 plan to have data in it, however when I tried to use the data it would not work. I was just wondering if anyone can help me access my data

Some people don't feel the need to update, that's the customers choice. We'd all love updates to make sure the customer is happy, but some customers are happy to not update. Their happiness is our only concern 🙂

@Michael77 @Luddite so far, it's crickets.  Robot Frustrated  It's frustrating when trying to help people and they don't follow up. Maybe no news is good news and @delanys is too busy off enjoying mobile data to come back to update us?  I hope that's the case.

@delanys you have gotten some great advice so far in this thread.

 

I would also suggest powering your phone off and back on again if you have not already since you added data to your account.

 

Since you were not using data, did you have it turned off on your phone?

You could always double check

Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > Data Roaming (to turn on or off)

If a carrier update is available it'll prompt you to install or accept it. This will happen automatically once you click the About option.

Did you set your APN settings? There are instructions on the kB or simply search Apn in the community search
