Issue with Making and Receiving Calls Despite Signal Availability

haltayeb1992

I am reaching out to report a persistent issue I am facing with my mobile service. Despite my phone showing that I have signal strength, I am unable to make or receive any calls. This problem has been ongoing and is causing significant inconvenience. Can Public Mobile help?

Let's confirm VoLTE status. If VoLTE isn't configured, your phone will try to use 3G for voice calls, which won't work since you have poor 3G coverage at your location.

Change your phone back to 4G (LTE). Once you're back on LTE, dial *#*#4636#*#* on the standard Android dialer. Go to phone information -> 3 dots in top right -> IMS service status.

What does it say for IMS Registration and Voice over LTE?

Pixel 6 should work and Coquitlam has no concerns. I would try the 3G suggestion and see if that helps narrow it down.

@haltayeb1992  They should reply with in the hour sometime longer but

I have tried the network reset, didn't help. I did send a message to the private link below. But I don't see the message that I sent anywhere. Where I can find it?

@haltayeb1992  try reset network settings see if that helps while waiting for support  you can also try the phone on 3G and see if that helps for voice

@haltayeb1992 it's possible your phone doesn't support VoLTE (voice calls on LTE).

If that's the case, you can be connected to LTE with good signal, yet not in coverage of 3G for voice calls.

What phone do you have and which city are you in?

@haltayeb1992  Can you try the SIM card in another phone to test ? If not you ca ask support to refresh your account
