Ever since posting to ask for help last Friday, I've been inundated with a flood of private messages claiming to be from Public Mobile support, all of which have typos, emojis ^_^;;;, requests for my personal info, referral codes, and more shady behavior.
Frankly, I'm not sure what, if any, of this is legitimate.

Customers absolutely should not use judgement based on what they feel is right. Customer should NEVER send account information to anyone who does not work for Public Mobile. Any member who does not have the Customer Support Agent title under the username or has the "PM" orange banner next to the username does not work for Public Mobile. There is no descretion or judgdement to be used as this factor is strict. Allso, when and if a customer opens ticket through the official ticketing process, authentication has already been completed, and usually, there is no further need for account verficiation.

Yes it sounds like phishing to me by other members. Any replies from the author CS_Agent or CSA_PM are the only people that will ask for personal information to confirm that it is you and not someone trying to phish for personal information by scammers.
If It is not from either of those authors then they are regular members like you and me try to receive monthly PM points if they use their referral code to reduce the cost of their monthly bill because PM does not allow members to post their referral code on this public community forum.
