Hi I just received a text message from Public Mobile offering me some extra data for being a loyal customer. They gave me a promo code but when I log into my public mobile account as directed, there is no place to add a promo code. Am I missing something? Is the original message I received a scam ?

Hi. Ya, it's kind of a confusing promotion. I got the same promo code and tried to validate it in the app. It did not work ("invalid code"). I then tried the PM web page to enter the code. It accepted the code. I see that the "free" data is now active in my account. So, try validating the promo code on the web site, not the app. (When you are signed in to your account (on the WEB PAGE), go to "Subscriptions and Add Ons", on the right side of the page, and enter the code in the "New Promotional Code" field. There is a helpful screengrab in this thread, provided by "hairbag1", on where to input the promo code.) Good luck.

I am having the exact same issue you are. I liked the way they used to do these promos where if you wanted it you responded yes back to the text they sent you & ignored it if you didn't want it.

Some had the same problem. Good thing in this case is you are not alone and PM will fix it and help
Just open ticket with PM using the Orange Chatbot icon on the lower right. (For 2FA when login, you might need to use email to receive if you cannot receive the text on the phone.) Type the question Submit ticket and select Contact Us to get to ticket open screen

it is a confusing promotion and many got into different issues
