Is it 3 Mbps or 2.5 Mbps?

Two screenshots. The first is from the Terms and Conditions section of the Plans page (https://publicmobile.ca/en/on/plans) and the second is from the More Details section of the Change My Base Plan page in Self Serve (https://selfserve.publicmobile.ca/Overview/plan-and-Add-ons/ChangePlanLandingPage/, then click Change Plan).

I've highlighted a few discrepancies, but the big one is that the Plans page says 3G plans are throttled to 3 Mbps, while the Change My Base Plan page says they're throttled to 2.5 Mbps.

Which is true? A 0.5 Mbps difference may not seem like a big deal, but at these low speeds, it is.

Did this change at one point and they forgot to update one of these pages?

Is this portending a change that's about to come?

@zxcvbnm It used to be 2.5Mbps when it first launched. Then Lucky/Chatr came up with 3Mbps speed. So PM ended up bumping the speed up to 3Mbps, but never bothered to change this speed everywhere Smiley Sad

@zxcvbnm

The maximum speed for the customer while connected to the LTE network on a "3g" plan is 3Mbps.  Please ignore any information that says otherwise as it is outdated.
