I bought a SIM yesterday and when I went online to activate the SIM, it said invalid SIM. Thanks to help

Try the SIM into another phone to see if it works.
Check that your phone is unlocked. If it is still locked to your previous provider, you will need to contact them to unlock it.
dial *#06# to get it.

Before returning it for another, double-check your payment card to make sure the charge did not process. Also, check your self-serve account to see if the status is showing as active or otherwise.
Then try inserting the SIM card back in your phone and resetting your network connections.
Do any calling or texting features work?

If you have tried activating on the portal more than once, please confirm there is no charge from PM on your credit card.
Where did you get the SIM card from ? if you got it from Mobile Kiosk, they might be able to activate the account for you as well.

@rpteeshila just want to confirm , did you get the "invalid SIM" error from the online activation portal or from the phone?
If it is from online activation, did you try activation more than once since you got this SIM? Maybe it was error out during the first activation and then you went back and try activating a 2nd time?

Check to make sure your credit card was not charged. If not charged wait one hour to try activating again. Clear browser cache and open a new window in incognito.

Where did you buy it? You might have to return it from where you purchased it.
But first try clearing your browser and switch to incognito.
Double check the SIM card number especially the number of “0”.
