I wanna open an account and try to active a physical SIM card which was used by my MOM before. She just switched the physical SIM to eSIM today. However, during my new account activation, the error "Invalid SIM card Number, plz try again." was showing.

You can order one from Canadian Cell Supplies for $5 and once you have the new SIM. Login to her account then to Account tab-Change Your SIM Card to transfer her account to the new SIM…including her number.

Or is my Mom's physical SIM card completely useless now?

Can my Mom still change back to this physical SIM or not, even the same phone number?

hi @jadonlu710
you cannot reuse an already used sim card.
so, you need to buy one. Buy it from a Telus , Koodo or Mobile Klink store for $10

Hi @jadonlu710
Sadly, once a SIM card with Public Mobile has been used, it's no longer valid with any other account or plans.
Here is how you can get a new one.
To get a new SIM card the fastest routes are these.
https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/pick-up-SIM - Find a local store in your area.
Amazon - Here you can get it cheaper and maybe a few days wait $9.99
Or find a Mobile Klinik near you. https://mobileklinik.ca/stores/
