Verification code sent to wrong number.

Hi, the verification code is not sent to my ported number but to a number ending in 616 which I suspect is the number of the Public Mobile SIM card I bought. My account shows te information correctly, I don't see where I coud update it. Thank you

try login from browser with Incognito mode.  If you experiencing the same, and Manage EverSafe ID shows the correct phone number, then please submit a ticket

I can log in by receiving that first verification code by email. Then, ironically, when I go to "fix the problem" and manage Eversafe, that verification code is being sent correctly to my ported number 🙂 Is it worth anybody's time to open a ticket if this seems to be a system issue?

you can update it, but you need to login first.  Check if you can login using e-mail to receive the code first

On the 2FA screen, click "Didn't Receive code" or "Resend Code" and choose "Send email"  to get 2FA.

if you can login, go to Profile > Manage EverSafe ID and update the phone number

if you cannot login still, ask PM CS  agent to help. Please open ticket using Public Mobile Expert Messaging using your Community/EverSafe account.  Select Start a Chat to begin:
          https://expert-messaging.publicmobile.ca/guest/pre-chat
**You'll get email/SMS alert when agent replies. or monitor here: https://expert-messaging.publicmobile.ca/message-centre

** If you cannot receive 2FA code and unable to open ticket, please setup a new Community account using another email and DO NOT link a phone number to it.  You can then create an Expert Messaging ticket with this new account.
