I am traveling to Asia and for some emergency I need to access my text messages for multi factor authentication. How can I activate roaming for my PM sim?

Never thought to ask Customer Service to ask for this feature to be added to the PM App...
Do they take suggestions?
It could be quite usefull if you forget to do so before leaving on your trip etc...
I personally set multiple reminders...
Can anyone ring in on ability of CSAgent to get a line forwarded for example if phone stops working, you end up out of country or you are in a particularly bad area?
I know for a fact Telus can forward business lines when they are down to cell numbers....

Sorry, but there isn't an option to set call forwarding from the Public Mobile self serve account. This can only be done from the cell phone device's call forwarding settings menu and/or the dialer.

If your Bank allows for call authentication to your PM number...
I have a Fongo free phone account and before leaving Canada forward my PM Number to Fongo.
So long as you have Data or WiFi anywhere... forwarded call will come in on Fongo app.
You can also use your free Canadian phone number from Fongo which I have had success registering with banks... Fongo now blocks Canadian bank SMS's unless you subscribe to a Texting Plan which is VERY low cost...
Canada Texting is all you need for a Canadian Bank...
$2.79 – 1 Month or $5.49 – 3 Months

You won’t have access to Public Mobile. Contact your bank to get voice or email authentication.

Hi thanks for the reply, Bank is sending authentication code to my phone number which is with public mobile. Is there any way to access my sms? Even having a local/esim will not help. I need to have access to my phon.

Sorry Public Mobile does not offer roaming in Asia. You should get a local eSIM or a travelling eSIM.
For 2fa it’s better to have them sent by email or use a authenticator app.
