I bought a 300 min package for international calls to place some calls to Austria. When trying to my call display shows the name of the recipient but then get I message that my call has been blocked by Telus and a message to call 611 (or *611). Neither of these however offer any help .. how can I get this block removed so I can actually call the office I need to reach?

@softech trying various things randomly I eventually figured out that the zero was the problem. In my case the letter I received had the area code 050 and I just dialed 011 43 050 + number .. and that got me the message from Telus about the number being blocked due to fraudulent activities and to protect my security. And to call 611 for help (which did not help anything)
Really super misleading error message .. I wish this were made more clear somewhere in the docs for Public Mobile.. or even just right with the add-on subscription section. Anyway .. thanks again @softech

@simpligillity Yes, Austria is part of the International calling add-on
Are you calling from Canada and how you made the call?
Did you call using this pattern:
011 + 43 + Area Code + Local Number
Remember to drop the leading zero for Area code. For example, it should be 1 for Vienna and not 01
