Hello, I need to go to Bangladesh for 4 weeks and like to know:
1. Does Public Mobile offer roaming in Bangladesh?
2. If Yes, is that free or a prepaid or Postpaid service?
3. Max of the services (online) that I use have 2FA via text message. How will i get the 2FA Verification code, when I will be in Bangladesh

1. 90 days, but we suggest to activate no later than 85 days just in case some hiccups and you have time to got it sorted out
2. Yes, you need to resume service no later than 90 days or the account will be closed. But you can resume that for 1 cycle (30 days) and leave it on hold for another 90 days.
Again, suggest you to resume service no later than 85 days just in case hiccup and you have time to got it sorted out

@sam97 You have 90 days to make payment from the day your account goes into suspended state so it’s advised to make payment before the 90th day so like day 85-87 to be safe and renew for 30 days and rinse and repeat if needed. But if you let it go for more then 90 days that’s it account will be closed and your number gone . You would then need to create a whole new account

1. What is the Maximum Duration that I can put the public mobile service on Hold?
2. Just remember to reactivate within 90 days of nonpay status though, as past 90 days you will lose your account and number here with public mobile. == Does this mean I need to reactivate the number in 90 days after putting it on HOLD. Let me know my understanding is correct?

Thanks. I am a bit worried to receive the 2FA code to the +1 514 (Public Mobile #). Apart from that, for sure I will use a local Sim (+88 Number). But I need to receive the 2FA codes that will be provided by the service provider.

@sam97 yes, a local sim may be best to use for 6 weeks. Note you can put your public mobile account on hold by removing Autopay and you won't need to pay for the next renewal, unless you have enough funds in your Available Funds area for the renewal. In this case, you can list it as lost/stolen, and this will also prevent the account from renewing/charging you.
Just remember to reactivate within 90 days of nonpay status though, as past 90 days you will lose your account and number here with public mobile.

@sam97 @Sorry PM only works in Canada and the US with US roaming . Your best to get a local pre paid SIM card in your destination

Thanks a lot for the info. In this case, migrating to a different service provider for 6 Weeks will be a good work around.
