Intermittent service (or no service) and I'm all paid up and it's been working (largely for months)

Hi everyone! 
Any help would be so appreciated - My phone is constantly saying no service even though my account is paid up and I'm in a urban service area (and it's worked for the last few months in the same place - my home). For some reason calls are being sent directly to voicemail and when i try to call out it often takes me three or four times to even make a call (sometimes it won't let me call out at all). I've turned the phone off and on a milion times and my wifi is full - but the service just goes in and out. Oh and calls are sketchy and just now they drop in the middle of them too (because it changes to no service during the call). I'm at my wits end - help please!! 🙂

Calls to voicemail could just be bad signal. Can you try a different spare phone?

I would try my sim card in a different phone...just to see if it's the phone or the sim card problem.

did you try borrowing another phone to see if there are the same issues?

What make/model and how old is the phone?

Sounds like antenna.
