I recently about 2 days ago switched to public mobile and did the process of transferring my old number to thr current plan but for some reason after I got a notification saying your transfer is complete your current number is on your new plan, I checked it and saw it was a whole new number I said okay maybe it'll take about 5 hours to update but it still hasn't updated, is there a way to get my old number back?

The old account was cancelled automatically when the number transfer was initiated I got told by freedom that the transfer was complete and that my old number was moved to this plan

Likely something went wrong with your port. I will private message you the Telus porting team number. They should be able to check status of your port.

is your old account still active and in good standing ?
Sounds like you're going to need Customer Support to intervene. Use this link to dm Customer Support...

Any temporary number will be able to call/sms out. But question is can you receive calls on that number And what happens when you call your Old number, number you want to port in???
I hope it is not so screwed up so you lose your old number...

Did you respond "yes" to your previous carrier port confirmation request text? Are you able to receive calls or texts on your ported number to your phone right now? Is data working? Are you able to text and call outgoing?
