what phone do you have? Try Reset Network Settings and see if improves

you might also want to test with changing the network mode to 3G Only and see it it helps.  But just for test, you likely dont' want to leave it as 3G only as it will affect your data speed

Try going into the Settings and find Network Settings and reset them. Then reboot. See if that helps.
