This service applies to when you are connected to the Public Mobile network.  So, anywhere in Canada where you can connect to the network, you can call Canada and US.  When you are outside of the network coverage, the plan services no longer apply.  There are US add-ons that allow you to roam on the partner network.  These roaming add-ons are purchased separately.

No @lstead you can only call from within Canada to the US . In order to talk from the US to Canada, you must buy a 10 day US talk roaming addon.

Alternately, you can add the TextNow app and use it over WiFi to make/ receive/ send calls and texts within Canada and to and from the US for free. Or if usimg an android pjone, use Google hangouts and Google dialer combined to do the same thing. Stay safe.

NO, you can’t call while you are physically located in the USA. 

You can call Canadian and US numbers while you are physically in Canada.

@lstead  No, when in the US you will still need to purchase an US roaming add-on. The $50 only works when in Canada.

@lstead hello no you can not talk from the united states only in Canada talk, text and data services refer to services offered while connected to the Telus/Public Mobile network. For service when not connected to the Telus/Public Mobile network, a roaming package must be purchased. Calls must originate from Canada to the US.
