In Mexico - outgoing texts free?

Hi there. I'm in Mexico and confused as to whether incoming AND outgoing texts are free. My plan says Canada wide calling etc and International texts/images 

Does that include incoming and outgoing texts from Mexico to Canada?

When you are connected to wifi. You are sending and receiving text on WhatsApp, iMessage or RCS and there are no charge on PM prepaid plans.

Public Mobile doesn't have pay per-use-charges, so there's no need to be concerned about possible charges.

@sralphy the nice thing about Public Mobile is that there are no surprise charges so you won't get billed for going over data (it will just stop when the amount has been used up) and roaming is not supposed to work if you do not have a roaming plan or add-ons. Have you gone into your Public Mobile app to confirm which plan your are currently on? If you go to the main tab, then go to Manage Subscription, it will show the details of your plan

@sralphy international texts will only work while you are in Canada, nowhere else. You would need a Canada-US-Mexico plan for you to be able to send texts back to Canada or to the US and even within Mexico (while there)

Service is only included in Mexico if your Public Mobile plan was advertised as a Canada-US-Mexico plan.  Otherwise, your service won't work there.
