Hi im being overcharged on my monthly bill. I have the $40 for 15gig plan, but my rewards($6) are not being deducted from my bill, as a result im paying $42 when it should be 35.75

The help articles have always stated that the rewards would be credited but in reality, it didn't happen. Now, it does happen automatically. The most up-to-date help arttciles now say in about 24 hours., but it actually takes 48 hours. I don't know when exactly the crediting started being automatic, but I can say for sure that it's not a brand new thing as I got reward credits after an early renewal back in April.

Yes it was immediate. I see its adding a credit to my balanace with public mobile ($6). While my other line i did not change still recieves the rewards discount ($36.75) the past two payments for my changed/upgraded plan are billing me $42.00
And yes im in alberta, area code (587)

HI@Tar did you use Change plan now for a change immediately? If you did, that was correct, that one time, PM will charge you full price. But you will get rewards again on the following renewal

HI @BKNS27 ok. i was focusing on him saying "but my rewards($6) are not being deducted from my bill". I think he is talking about the $5+tax difference

Just noticed that OP is claiming for the 5% GST and not the PST. Taxes are based on the provincial area code
Didn’t comment on the missing rewards but OP may have switch to the Points system.

By chance, did you sign up for the new points rewards system? If you did, you will not receive the old reward dollars. You will get points monthly instead of reward dollars.

Hi @Tar did you make a plan change with Change plan now? With Change plan now, PM will charge the full amount without applying rewards
Check Payment history page in My Account and confirm

@Tar I don't like the billing layout. I find it confusing.
Have you checked your credit card statement?
