IOS 14 - goes straight to voicemail

BBinns
Great Neighbour / Super Voisin

Starting Feb 5, my iPhone 14 used to receive calls. Now it doesn't - not from trusted sources, unknown sources, or my land line.

Yes - I've looked at all of the phone's internal settings.

Yes - I've done the reboot with suspend trick.

Anybody else having these issues?

Help and Thanks,

All great suggestions, thanks folks. The problem is resolved: Siri decided to make sure no one is disturbed so all calls were shunted immediately to voicemail. Maybe it's a sleep-talking issue.

@BBinns

There are known issues with the last 2 updates (iOS 16.2 & iOS 16.3) with cellular connections.

Try rebooting your phone by powering it off then back on. It seems to work for most iPhone users.

HI @BBinns   I think it is more network than device

But , put your PM sim card in another phone and check if incoming calls will come through

Just incoming calls? Everything else works?

@BBinns   Has the phone been updated recently?

You can also try powering off and removing SIM card and insert SIM into another compatible phone and reboot and back to the Iphone and reboot.

@BBinns   you can make outgoing calls without problem?

did you try to use the phone in different area ?

Try to change the network type to 3G and see if it helps

  1. Select Settings.
  2. Select Mobile Data.
  3. Select Mobile Data Options.
  4. Select Voice & Data.
  5. To enable 3G, select 3G.
