I want to cancel my account. How do I go about doing this

Received a message that the card is removed. Hopefully won’t have any more issues. Thanks everyone who assisted me

You can also cancel your account by porting your number over to another carrier.

Once you port out, your account will be closed including your CC information and SIM will be useless after port out.

Please send me the link to the cs agent who can help me to cancel my account the easiest way possible. I cannot access my account because I cannot receive the 6 digit code to confirm. This is getting so frustrating. HELP

By the CS_Agent removing the credit card that effectively stops the service from renewing. But they are also the method in the terms of service to stop the service.
Do you not want to keep the number? There's just no use for the account now? Depending on how old the account is and if it's on the old rewards system, maybe someone here would like to take it over.

hi @Nipper1 

best to disable Autopay yourself.  Just logon My Account and go to Payment page, .manage Subscription and disable Subscibed 

or you call *611 and disable using 4 digits pin

@Nipper1 , you can either port your phone # to another carrier which will automatically close your account or disable your subscription. Once your account becomes suspended, then 90 days of non payment your account will close & your SIM Card will no longer work. Public Mobile is prepaid so no refunds for unused plan.

Is there anything we can help you with that will change your mind into staying here with Public Mobile?

The account wil be closed if payments are stopped. Once the Public Mobile account has been in suspension for 90 days, the account will be permanently clsoed.  If there is a debit or credit card saved on the Public Mobile account, disabled pre-authroized payemnts. I would also suggest contacting CS_Agent to have the card removed from the Public Mobile account.
