I transferred my number from a different carrier to Public mobile today, and I've authorized the transfer request throught a SMS text. I've chosen the eSIM option, why now my phone just shows SOS only? can you please help? let me know if you need my phone number. Thanks a lot

Hi, I followed your instruction, and set up eSIM, and now I got Public Mobile signal showing. I can make calls and receive calls, but unable to send/receive text messages. I checked My Number of Phone Setting, it is blank, and I've tried to punch in my number, but it does not save at all, would you please help?

if the iphone has another physical sim card, remove it first
then go to Settings -> Cellular screen, is there a Public Mobile esim there?
if it is the only sim there, make sure it is enabled by turning on "Turn on this line" option
if there is still the old carrier esim there, best to disable that old sim by turning off "Turn on this line", then go back to the Public Mobile esim and then turn on "Turn on this line" and set the line to Primary
But if there is no Public Mobile esim there, then you will check the Welcome email from PM, scan the esim QR code to install and then follow the above instruction to turn it on

is your esim setup properly? has it enabled or set to "Turn on this line"? Check your phone first
if you are sure it was enabled, then it might be a problem with the setup on the system and need support agent to help. please submit a ticket with CS Agent using this Chatbot link: https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html Type the question "Submit ticket", Then click the following in order: "Contact Us" , "Other", "Log In".
