A little background - I prepaid approx the same amount last year and it looks like my prepaid money ran out before I was able to reload some more funds. Let me know if I would need to take a different approach or should I still follow the suggestions provided in this forum?

@Blessedwon - we are customers and members like you here on the forum.
I hope you were able to get this payment made. If not, since it has been a few hours now, try it again. Also, confirm you were not charged on your card more than once if you had multiple attempts.
If still issues making the payment, or were authorized charged more than you intended ask CSA for assistance.
Public Mobile Representatives customer support agents (CSA) can be contacted by either two methods, found here:

But...the OP may have a very good reason. To prevent auto pay failure and will be out a town for a few months.

@Blessedwon I'd agree with others suggestions here, it's definitely not a good idea to add that amount of money into your account for a prepaid service.

I would seriously heed the comment from htidegnow. This is not a savings account that you take the money out when you no longer need it here. They won't give it back. You forfeit it.
I imagine you just want to pay ahead and avoid any autopay failures but I would suggest only a month or two.

HI @Blessedwon click on the 3dots or 3 lines on the top right of the browser, select Incognito. And if you use Safari, it is called Private mode

As per @hTideGnow I believe there is a limit to how much you can add. And perhaps less per day for a few days would work.

HI @Blessedwon $250? That's a lot. PM is prepaid and won't refund in case you regret added too much
You might have trigered a fraud lock for trying too many times. Please wait an hour. then use incognito/private/secret browser mode to login My Account. Try to just load $100 first as I think there is a limit to how much to load. If $100 works, try another $100 after and another $50
