I am on an IPhone 11
I changed my number over to public mobile and can call outbound but receiving phone calls does not work. I also can’t send or receive text messages but iMessage works since it’s through the internet.
I believe the problem is that I didn’t end up confirming the text message to my old number but I have closed my account with Rogers already. I spoke to them and their porting team confirmed they transferred everything over to their Public Mobile. The phone number works, and when I call others, it comes out as my phone number I brought to Public Mobile. My phone number is the correct phone number in Public Mobile profile account too.
If anyone has any solution on how to get/send the text messages and phone calls to receive, that would be awesome. Thanks!

You will need to contact a CS_Agent to restart the porting process for you. Staff hours are 9:00am to 10:00pm EST so DM them now and they will get back to tomorrow morning.
Meanwhile, since porting was not completed. Your Rogers SIM should still work and reply to the text with YES when the agent restart it for you.
DM them at:

If you did not reply to the text, then the port was not successfully done.
In order to have it done, your account at Rogers must be active. So you would have to contact Roger's back and ask them to reopen the account.
Put back the old SIM card in your phone so that you can reply to the text.
I will send you another message to call the porting team to get this done. But first you have to contact Rogers to reactivate your account. Any port requests must have an active account to initiate.
Separate message to come with the phone number.
