I have submitted transfer my old number to eSIM card with public, how do I know if transfer is done?

The waiting time is 4 hours, can I have temporary number for use during this waiting period?

@Rebecca92 , this may be a silly question but after you installed your eSIM did you do these instructions below?

Reboot your phone.

In cellular settings make sure that ‘Turn On This Line’ (for iPhone ) is selected. (I am not positive where the setting is on a different phone to turn it on, possibly ‘Turn on your eSIM under Mobile Network’), reboot your phone. (You may need to reset network settings then reboot)

@Rebecca92  That’s right , this is a sim provisioning issue please use the link below to contact support to fix on there end . And everything should be working as expected . You did everything right . Just a system issue with sim

Yes. I have been reply YES with my old phone service and then my old service is offline in a few minutes. That means the transfer is done but my public service is not available 

@Rebecca92  SOS then this is a SIM card provisioning issue . Easy fix for support

I can’t use old phone service anymore. I wonder the transfer to public service has some problems

HI @Rebecca92 

there is no temporary number.  can you actually make calls? during this time before porting is completed, you should be at least able to make calls

if you cannot even make calls, or cannot connect to PM network, it is a sim card and account setup problem.  Please submit a ticket with CS agent and ask them to check if your account was permissioned

@Rebecca92  .does your old providers SIM card still work ? If it does porting not complete . I will send you the porting team number private message . They can give you status update on the port or re trigger the port request if needed also 


adding did you reply YES to the confirmation text to port number . From old providers SIM card in phone @Rebecca92

I believe you will just have to wait. If your eSIM transfer is complete you will see Public Mobile on your phone instead of your own provider.
