I have international texting, not a new user. I ve tried several times to send text to numbers in China. They never got it. I used +country code then phone number. Any suggestions?

I know that certain Chinese carriers restrict SMS such as; https://www.sixthtone.com/news/1010341. So that might be a reason too if you are sending to such number. Overall I find SMS to be more unreliable when sending internationally. Some providers (in other countries I've tried) charge for incoming SMS and therefore in general users have not enabled it at the SIM level. This happened to me once when traveling where I had a international SIM card and while SMS worked locally in that country it couldn't send ore receive SMS internationally.
Overall my suggestion is to avoid international texting if possible and use something like Signal, Telegram, WhatsApp etc which relies on data instead.

Is it possible the receiver cannot receive these for any reason?
Also, these text are needing to be sent FROM Canada - I presume they are.
Also ensure you are sending SMS messages (and not iMessage or Android chat) if that happens to be enabled.
You might also want to try asking the recipient to text you first, then REPLY to that text to see if that works.
