Hi everyone! I am trying to transfer my number from chatr to public mobile. I tried to transfer and it gave me the incorrect ESN/MEID number message. I have contacted customer service but can’t wait until tomorrow because my current plan expires tomorrow. Can someone help with the porting number please? Thanks!

I know that the text message that Public Mobile sends out talks about ESN and MEID, but that text message is providing you with erroneous information. Don't look for an ESN or MEID becasue you won't find one. It's the IMEI that can be used (if the account number can't be used).

I can’t through the app. When I try to enter the number in transfer the number it just says “invalid phone number”. Is there anyway I can try again?

@staar I'll send you another message with the phone number to call. Ensure to keep your old SIM card in your phone.
