I would like to update my payment information for the Subscribed Plan to another Canadian credit card, but it's not working for some reason. I'm not sure why.

Unfortunately, a few customers are still having issues with updating credit card information.
You can also try with PM app (with locator on). If via website, you can also try a different web browser, clear cache or incognito mode. Or try a different credit card (if available).

Trying updating the cc information on the app instead of browser. It worked me on the app.

I think it should be a bug. And it has been lasting for a long time.
