I can't activate new esim for my new Iphone 17 Pro Max from my old iphone and old eSim

recently I am done transferring  all data and info from my old iphone with eSim to my new Iphone 17 Pro Max . Then I opened the Public mobile app on my new phone and signed in with my current user name and pass word, then I purchased the new Esim ($5) as recommended by Public Mobile chatbot. Then I clicked on activate the new eSim. then it's done the activation but there is no connection or service. my new iphone said "can't activate new eSim, contact Public mobile" . How do I make the new phone work for my current subscription and inactivate the old Esim?

sounds like you don't have access to your Public Mobile account so you can use this link to message Customer Support to get their help getting your new cellphone working properly...

I checked and I found that I don't need to deactivate or delete old eSim on my old Iphone.  now I checked my old phone under esim, the network is Public mobile, Carrier is Public Mobile 64.0 While the new Iphone shows that network  is "not available" and Carrier is Public Mobile 66.0. Do you find oud the reason why my new phone does not work after I activated esim on my new phone

yes,  after finishing transferring all data and information, my old iphone asked if I want to delete things including eSim (old eSim on old iphone) but I was afraid so I chose "do it later" .  so I now my old esim on old phone is still active

I'm just guess here...in settings; is your new esim the primary ?
