@Klee600430, when did you sign up/register? Was it more than a couple of hours ago? Have you power cycled your phone? Since it is a new number, there is no stuck port issue here.
If it has been a couple of hours, and you have restarted your phone, then something might have gone wrong with the account set up (on Public mobile side). In that case, you would need to contact the moderators team via private message, and ask them to assist you. Include your phone# or account# and account PIN (if you know it) in order to speed up the process.

Also, you have posted to a very old topic. In the future, you should always start a new topic in order to ensure that your question gets the most possible exposure, and the quickest response.

@Klee600430 you replied to an old topic dealing with porting. sometimes it better to start your own thread. since its a new activation and new number i would contact the mods to look into your account. Also include your sim number.
How can you get help with your account, activation, or service?
In your message please include:
Don't know your pin?--provide any 3 of the following:

Hello,
I have same problem which I am able to dial out but when people call me it goes directly to my voice mail account.
This is my new number and I have not taken old number from previous carrier.
I have no idea what is wrong with my number.

Hi @jintianhuan,
@Shazia_K is working on it right now 🙂

I already replied to your other thread,
The port has been requested, please allow at least 30 minutes to 2 hours for the port to complete. You will receive a text message saying that the port has completed and then simply reboot your phone 🙂
Thanks,
Shazia

Hi @jintianhuan,
I'm sorry that your port is taking longer than expected. I will look into this for you. Could you provide me with this info via private message?
- Rogers account number
- the Rogers number you're trying to port in
- your SIM card number
Thank you 🙂

OK, I guess I will just wait.

Unless it was a landline the port should be complete; often the delay is from a small data entry error. Let's notify the moderators @Shazia_K @Mary_M @Saray_O to have a look.
Normally your Rogers SIM will continue to provide service until the port in finsihes. Do not cancel your Rogers account; that will happen automatically when the port in has finsihed.

yes, I did.
I was with Rogers.

Did you just request a transfer from another carrier? If so, which and when?
