I am not sure if my iphone 8 plus is locked. How do I make sure it is unlocked?

If it works with your SIM card that's all that matters and it's most likely unlocked. But if you want to make sure in case you want to change Mobile provider then go to settings --> about ---> at the bottom see Carrier Lock and if it shows No SIM Restrictions then it's unlocked.

Go to settings, general, about. Scroll down a bit. Does it say "Carrier Lock......NO SIM restrictions"?

If yes....it is unlocked.

@landphil99 do you have a public sim to try in it? what provider was it with last?
