@Haru the Canadian version is fully compatible. The Global version does not support 4g LTE. In places with only 4g LTE data. You will not be able to access data. If you have the global version. @Haru yes PM is fully compatible. I have the p30 PRO and they are similar. if you check if your phone is compatible in the Telus network then you will always know if it is compatible with Public because it runs on the Telus network.
Make sure to unlock your phone before switching and dont cancel your plan with your previous provider if you want the same phone number.
