How to use roaming services in Philippines and do I pay or included it to my plan?

Hi, I will go home to Philippines for emergency purposes my mother is not good condition. I want to know if I can use my public mobile network plan as roaming there? And if it’s included in my plan? If not how much it would cost me? Thanks

Sorry to hear about your mother.  Hopefully, things turn out well.

Unfortunately, your PM service will not work in Philippines.  Public mobile will not work in countries outside Canada, US or Mexico.  Most PM customers purchase a travel eSIM or get a domestic SIM card when they arrive to their country.  I have used Mobimatter website to purchase cheaper travel eSIM with success in the past.

there is no roaming service in Philippines.  you won't be able to receive calls and text to your PM number there.  The best you can do is to download and use the VoIP app Fongo to make and receive calls there.  

If you need 2FA code from banks or websites, you have to change it to email or Authenticator app.
