How to send a sms to my phone from my computer

i was able in the past to send a sms to my phone using the  number@msg.telus.com
format but it dont work any more
is thre a new version of this or a phone setting that needs to be turn on ???
please help

from my outlook on my computer i selected plain text and it took 3 sec and it was on my phone.

yes, the email is correct

but you cannot use fancy email desktop app/program to send, you need to use either the web version , which will send plain text--like send from Gmail via browser, or set to send as text if you have the option with the desktop program.
