Do you now have the option to buy esim over a physical sim and instanty register to the service?

As of today, I don't think this is the case anymore @computergeek541 . The activation address on PM's website now forwards you on to the app. Just updating this thread in case anyone (like me) runs into this in the future.

With PM, the eSIM activation is based on the app detecting the phone's eSIm and give you a choice to activate the eSIM.

Customers do not need to use the Public Mobile app to perform activations.  Activations can be peformed using the regular website, including activations involving eSIM.  The activation website even provides the option to skip the compatibility check of the eSIM IMEI number.

@BKNS27   no, as of now, both Lucky and PM do not make it into the carriers that support Apple Watch

For Apple watch, as well as other watches with eSim, you need the carrier to explicitly support it.  it has to do with app, and in Apple case, Carrier profile & APN

@Bunnyhop

You need to active a new account to purchase eSIM.

It should work on Apple Watch 3 or newer.

Here is how to setup.

@Bunnyhop   I don't think so

Lucky has eSIM support but they don't support Apple Watch too

With PM, the eSIM activation is based on the app detecting the phone's eSIm and give you a choice to activate the eSIM.
