The recent bulletin is not clear…do I dial E before 911…..how does it differ from 911 as description seems the same

You just call 911 not needed to add E. E911 and 911 are very similar, but with E911 it will automatically provide your location and phone number. It requires a strong connection but it’s more automated and in cases where your not able to speak the required information it can come in handy.

for emergency, you still dial 911 on your phone, no need to add the E
The E911 and 911 that you were referring are just a names of the 2 systems (but you still only call 911 in case of emergency). The main difference between 911 and E911 is that E911 automatically provides the caller's location and phone number to the 911 operator, while basic 911 requires the caller to provide this information
