To block your number from showing on other's Caller ID:
go into the Settings app and tap Phone. Next, tap Show My Caller ID and turn off the switch next to Show My Caller ID. You’ll know the switch is off when it’s gray and positioned to the left.

From any Home screen, tap Phone.
Tap the MORE icon.
Tap Settings.
Tap More settings.
Tap Caller ID and select one of the following options: Network default. Hide number. Show number.

I'm not really sure if *67 works at Public Mobile, but I do know that *67 did works on Telus back in the days of CDMA. So, it might still work, but I haven't tested it.

Regardless of phone model and software version, dialing #31# as part of the dialed phone number (before the number that you are dialing out to) will always work. This code will work as a one time outgoing call display block and you won't need to change any settings in your phone (if you want it to only be a one time thing).
