Do you still have services? If yes, this could be your account going through the normal renewal process. The SELF SERVE account can say "expired" or "suspended" on the day of or before your plan is due to renew. So if this is the case, ignore these messages on your SELF SERVE account.
If you have no services, and it is past your renewal, maybe your autopay failed?

@Nadr :You can make a payment using the self-serve and a payment card. If you already have a valid payment card registered then you can use the 611 service and your 4 digit PIN. You can buy vouchers from many stores or online and use the 611 or self-serve. You can use the Instant Top-up method in a few stores.
If you dial 611 with the Public Mobile SIM in the phone and you get a recording saying you're suspended and asks for money then good.
If you dial 611 and it says your renewal date and balance then something else is going on and further investigation would be needed. Maybe restart the phone.
If you dial 611 and neither of the above occur then something else is going on which would require further investigation.

Have you tried logging into self service and making a payment? Has it been more than 90 days since you made a payment from your last renewal date? If yes then your account is closed and you would have to buy a new SIM card and go through the activation process again.
