I just signed up for a 4g account. Everything switched over and restarted phone several times.
I am getting .1 or .4 max mbps. This is absolutely a joke! This is not even fast enough to load a website!
If this is the best Public Mobile has to offer, no thanks.
Refund policy please OP!

@dishlexic , the S21 line are 5G compatible. You should be connecting to the 5G network regardless of which plan you selected . Something is not right here. BTW, this is the speed profile you should expect with a 4G speed plan.

and you don't have any VPN profile setup , right? check it and delete them
If changing to different network mode didn't work, still don't give up yet, message support. They will confirm if the activation was done properly and will reprovision the account/sim. Message them here:

@dishlexic where you are at? city and province?
and go to Preferred network type, do you have an option with 5G? pick that one
Choose Settings.
Scroll down.
Choose Connections.
Choose Mobile networks.
Choose an option, in this case, Network mode SIM 1.
Choose (try one with Auto, try one with 5G , try one with LTE)

Galaxy S21 Ultra.
Completed network reset and checked off auto connect network type.
LTE is showing on the status bar no matter where I go.
Speed test posted.
LMFAO !!!! It's like having dial up internet at 28.8!

@dishlexic what phone do you have?
Check your Preferred Network type or Network mode, make sure Automatic is chosen or pick one that has LTE or 4G there.
Try to do a Reset All Networks and see how it goes (please note that will delete your saved Wifi and Bluetooth connections, but you can add them back after)
Monitor your phone status bar and check if it is connected to 4G, LTE or 5G (yes, you can use the 5G network, too, just that the speed will be capped at 100Mbps)
and please also try in different area
Download a speed test app, post us the speed test result
