Hooking up a phone

Bought a sim card off someone close to me but when I try to hook up said invalid sim. Anyway this can be fixed trying to get the 15 dollars package and on a very tight income

@Lance1  if the account has been Suspended for 90 days or longer since last renewal, the account is permanantley closed...for good. You'd need a new sim and start a new account.

You should look on sites like eBay and Amazon...you can usually find new PM sim cards for less than $10.

In the meantime...have a think about a free voip app like TextNow. You'll get your own phone number and you can call - text anyone in US or Canada...for free. The only requirement is you need to be around wifi, but wifi is getting to be everywhere nowadays. There's other voip options too, but I've used TextNow and works good. It might just work for you until you can put togeather some $$ for a Public Mobile sim and plan.

@Lance1The used SIM card is useless unless you take over the person's account (if it is still active).

Do,you mean “tried to hook it up” as setting up an account or account t is set up and doesn’t work in phone? 

As mentioned, you may have a used sim.
