As PM's current plans are in errors, What's your take on these to start?
Add-On Data w. 30 Day and 90 Day and Unlimited
250MB: $4/ 30 Day/ $7/ 90 Day/ $10/ Unlimited
750MB: $12/ 30 Day/ $16/ 90 Day/ $20/ Unlimited
1GB: $17/ 30 Day/ $19/ 90 Day/ $25/ Unlimited
2GB: $21/ 30 Day/ $26/ 90 Day/ $30/ Unlimited
This for Add-On Data

If having to Streamline Plans
Here's what I would do
90 Day and Unlimited Data Add-Ons with the 30 Day removed
250MB: $7/ 90 Day/ $10/ Unlimited
500MB: $12/ 90 Day/ $15/ Unlimited
750MB: $16/ 90 Day/ $20/ Unlimited
1GB: $19/ 90 Day/ $25/ Unlimited
2GB: $26/ 90 Day/ $30/ Unlimited
Can-Wide + Canada-Wide Text
$14/ 30 Day vs. $11/ 30 Day x 3 = $33 / 90 Day Total
Can-Wide + Global Text
$17/ 30 Day vs. $13/ 30 Day x 3 = $39 / 90 Day Total
Can-Wide + US L-D + Global Text
$23/ 30 Day vs. $16/ 30 Day x 3 = $48 / 90 Day Total
Dataless Plans
Can-Wide + Canada-Wide Text + 20GB 4G LTE Speeds
$28/ 30 Day vs. $23/ 30 Day x 3 = $69/ w. 60GB 4G LTE Speeds 90 Day Total
Can-Wide + Global Text + 30GB 4G LTE Speeds
$32/ 30 Day vs. $26/ 30 Day x 3 = $78/ w. 90GB 4G LTE Speeds 90 Day Total
Can-Wide + US L-D + Global Text + 35GB
$36/ 30 Day vs. $29/ 30 Day x 3 = $87/ w. 105GB 4G LTE Speeds 90 Day Total
Data Plans 4G LTE Speeds
Unlim Canada-Wide + Global Text + 15GB 5G LTE Speeds
$56/ 30 Day + 15GB w. 5G LTE Speeds vs $51/ 30 Day x 3 = $153/ 90 Day + 45GB w. 5G LTE Speeds Total
Unlim Canada-Wide + US L-D + Global Text + 20GB w. 5G LTE Speeds
$70/ 30 Day + 20GB w. 5G LTE Speeds vs $60/ 30 Day x 3 = $180/ 90 Day + 60GB w. 5G LTE Speeds Total
5G LTE Speed Plans
But, I still Firmly believe in the Add-On for Access to 5G LTE Speeds for those on Legacy Grandfathered Plans
Plus, Add-On if one goes on Vacation for extended time, a Add-On to Idle Plan that Still Allows the Client to retain their Legacy Grandfathered Plans and NOT Forfeiting them at all
Expanding the Countries on the Global L-D as well as Roaming List is ALSO Something I am Begging for as well
If Unlimited Data, the Speeds should be AT Least 2G or 3G-like speeds at very least, so, if 1-1.5MB, that might be a little More acceptable as opposed to that 512kbp's
Just my Take
I Just think the Current Unlimited 512kbp's would be considered an affront and Just the fact that 512kbp's would be Severely Limited to Simple stuff Only, I Just think Unlimited Data Plans is Useless
Also, PM should Really Consider Scrapping 3G Plans so to streamline, and then make the 4G LTE Plans more attractive
The Dataless Plans Ideas I suggest would at least be within a reasonable parameter

@makkahn28 since Telus runs the show don't expect much more than we've gotten, but who knows I'm just keeping my expectations in line with reality when it comes to business as a whole, also I've seen quite a few people make good use of their throttled data, hell I'm one of them, I was able to do more than the basics on 128kbps that lucky has, and same when I was on freedom with their 256kbps throttle, so just because it doesn't work for you doesn't mean its useless for everyone, so don't go speaking for us all, that's not fair to those of us that find value in it.

Also, @XionBunny , The Unlimited Data when Throttled, 512kbp's, Only good mainly for emails Or Basic function, as watching YT or Netflix would be Painfully Slow
05-30-2023 06:25 AM
@XionBunny , I just think PM with the current 5G and current system and Add-On Data layout is Just Not the Greatest right now
I don't think PM should be following the Other Flanker Brands Patterns, They need to really consider charting their Own Path, Offering More Options, and showing that the Old Rule Book needs to be Broken, and rewritten, something that would rock the Telecom Industry in Canada to the Core, and Mold and Craft something new and exciting
05-30-2023 05:06 AM
@makkahn28 I'm not against the unlimited throttled data like you are and I'm sure there are many others that agree with me, all I care about is it is more affordable and accessible rather than exclusionary to the highest-priced tiers, just stick with the current approach the other flankers have, at least make it 25$ and up, in the 30$ tier at a bare minimum, I don't see them making it all addon based cause like I've told you before, its too complicated and does not deliver them enough revenue to make it viable, they care about money, and if they want money and loyal customers, the throttled data needs to be more accessible if they don't alter the current add-on policy.

Here's the Poll
What is Important and what is considered Vital vs what can wait for right time?
a. Focus on 4G LTE Speed Plans with a More Robust Offering with slightly faster speeds, so if speeds currently being 100MB, if at 125-130MB, would that be sufficient, Plus Adding a 90 Day and Unlimited to the Add-On Data Expiry, More Additional Add-On Data Size Allocations, More additional Roaming + L-D Countries to the List
b. Fiddle with the 5G LTE Speeds Plans and Clawing back on the Data Add-Ons how long they last, some experiments with the Add-Ons and Plans to see what works and what not?
c. Gradual approach to 5G roll out, as well as 4G LTE
What is your preference?
05-29-2023 10:21 PM
Also, here's what PM needs to do, Add-Ons for those Who are on Older, Grandfathered Legacy Plans that we would Not want to lose as the price point makes more sense
Add-On 5G Speeds Access if on an Legacy Plan
So, Take mine
Unlim Can-Wide + US L-D + Global Text + 6GB w. 4G LTE Speeds for 90 Day
$150, so $50/ 30 Day x 3 = $150/ 90 Days, 2GB w. 4G LTE x 3 = 6GB w. 4G LTE Speeds Total
Offering a 5G Speeds access Add-On would Make sense, so, treat it like a 30 or 90 Day 5G LTE Speeds access where after the time lapses, Access is cut, and 4G LTE Speeds resumes
Simple enough
05-29-2023 10:14 PM
Separating them in their own categories would allow for more easy way to read
What's your take on the New 5G Plans, if they are great as they are, If my version makes more sense, Or if you think that Rolling out 5G Mistake, Or, if they should have rolled out One at a time
05-29-2023 10:11 PM
5G Plans currently In serious Errors and Definitely could potentially Back-Fire and cause some doubt on Viability and Long-Term Stability
My Take, on a Gradual, Careful Process to ensure demand is there, if it meets with wondrous success, and Careful Roadmap BEFORE Stepping on the Gas Pedal Full Steam Ahead
30 vs 90 Day WITHOUT the Unlimited Data 512kbp's Nonsense which is Not the Way I would do that as some PM Clients on Lower Tier Plans might take some offense to that and feel insulted and alienated
So, If Data Allocation used Up, Data ceases Unless Plan renewed Or Add-On Purchased
