Has anyone tried the US roaming add on with talk, text & data in the Orlando area lately?

Just wondering if this add on is working/not working and whether it is worth purchasing or not...

That's good to hear!  Thanks for letting me know.  Do you mind me asking what type of phone you have?

I just returned from 1week in St Pete’s and 1 week in Orlando March 29th and the phone worked perfect in both areas. I, like you was a little nervous after reading re new USA issues. I had the plan that also included Data.

What make / model of phone were you using ? Is volte enabled on that phone ? Did you try connecting only to T-Mobile ?

Honestly, the PM Roaming Add-on is unreliable in too many instances. Until things improve...best 2nd option is to download free voip app such as TextNow and use local free wifi.

Also, consider just using WhatsApp and local free wifi.

I'm thinking that if you contact CSA as previous suggestion, they'll credit your account.

I purchased for use in South Carolina and it mostly did not work. Very unreliable. Get another plan. I would not use it again.

honest, Florida is a hit or miss, especially with talk.

With this post about Orlando, it is talking about data works but voice is not working on selected phone, works on Android but not iPhone (likely because iPhone cannot change to 2G for the voice)

So, what phone do you have?  If data is more important than voice, then get roaming and use VoIP app to make voice calls as a backup.  Also, you might have better luck with an Android than iPhone

if you do buy the add-on and find it doesn't work for you in Orlando, send a message to CSA people and I'm sure they'll credit your account.
